Car in the garage at the minute to have oil leak sorted, due to position of leak the cambelt had to come off so asked for a new one to go on as will need one soon anyway. spoke to garage earlier and they said whoever did last cambelt change had not done it correctly and it was advanced two teeth (think they said on two out of four of whatever holds the cambelt but i may be mistaken, no nothing about this sort of stuff). What does advancing mean in this context and is it going to of done the car any damage etc????
Last cambelt changed at 45k(at a scoob dealer) long before i got the car which has now done 75k.
