I am looking at having my car remapped. What is the difference between a TEK2 and TEK3??

 

A "Tek-2" is an off the shelf map, albeit enhanced in comparison to the original map. It's appropriate for mildly modified cars. A "Tek-3" is a completely custom map, tailored for your car and your car alone. This is appropriate for more extensively modified cars, or those who want to optimise the performance/efficiency of their own car. A "Tek-3" map costs more and takes longer.

 

I have a my00 ecu for sale in the classified's if you need one to get rempped!

 

Ron, I presume this is a tek3? how old is it and what price are you looking for it?

 

No mate, it's a stanrd ecu, but it would mean you could keep the original ecu from your car to put back in when/if you sell!!
