Hi Guys,
This may seem a bit of a dull question to you regulars.... are all cars described/advertised as 'WRX' in the UK imported from one place or another (any age) or was such a thing ever available as a UK model? There seems to be a lot of cars advertised as WRX???

Yep there has never been aEuropean WRX. Not sure if they are Japan only but they all seem to be imported from there.

Richm, as far as i am aware there has never been an official WRX in the U.K. but there are other countries that have had the WRX as a main stream vehicle avalible through dealers, this is why the dealers won't be very helpful towards owners of the WRX or STI, because they have'nt supplied it to the British public.

Is insurance considered to be more of a problem for WRX than for UK cars then?

I own a WRX, insurance is not a problem just a bit higher than british Subarus.

The only officially available WRX models in the UK were the 16 <B>WRX STI 22B <I>type uk's</I></B> brought in by Subaru uk whick came with the 3yr/60,000mile warranty.

I have 2 WRX's and seem to get cheaper insurance than most. Just shop around one hell of a lot.
