my dad has a vw camper and all vw owners seem to aknowledge him and each other when they drive past each other on the roads, so do scoob drivers so this as well?

I use to flash my lights, but then the car in front would think "what the hell?". Now I just wave.

 

it all depends, for example if I am at a set of lights and another scooby pulls next to me in the next lane, I would smile and acknowledge the other driver providing he is level with me. If however the driver is slightly behind I would definitely not look behind my should just to give a wave as i'd look like a real nosey git.

i always try and wave, get loads around swansea that dont bother though, went up to wrexham last weekend , id say 9 out 10 that i saw waved up that way, more friendly scoob owners up there

I wave and alot do in the Newcastle area.

 

Well they don't in Chester le Street area. Silver Scooby bloke looked at us and then looked the other way. No smile, No wave, nothing. Miserable bugger.

 

HEy 84 I will wave to you now mind it wasnt me in the silver scoob mines blue. Anycase have you been to the TTS yet at the Duncow on the first Tuesday of the month. All the subaru owners fron Newcastle area meet up there. This week we are meeting on Tuesday at about 18:30 for a convoy down to triple six in Middlesborough which is a performance car place. It will be a right good laugh.

I normally get a wave back from any scooby driver apart from type r, ra v limited drivers as they seem to be a little stuck up!

You haven`t waved at me Daza as I always wave and I own a Type R and why you think we are stuck up. Have you tried waving at Audi TT`s mate now thats stuck up lol

 

I find the new age drivers are reluctant to wave to the classic owners for some reason, maybe it’s the embarrassment of driving such an ugly motor!!

 

I wave to every scooby owner I spot when driving whether it be classic or new age mostly turbos and tend to find that hardly any wave back .

Down in sunny lincs , some wave but a lot don`t. I still wave if i see them, if i don`t wave it`s cos i didn`t see you or only out of the corner of my eye as you went past. And by the way i`m a Bugeye owner as well. Allegdly it`s pink.

 

yeh i think the reason a lot dont wave is because they dont understand scoob culture (not that i do either) but with vw's they ALL get it therefore they all wave.


i think when you buy your impreza you should get a little note on the V5' explaining the etiquette that is expected whilst driving you subaru.
