Za-sti hopes to be able to sort something this weekend. He can't put my 16s on until his big calipers are off. His sale of them fell through but he said something about pulling in favours. I'll keep you posted

Mike can I read from this that you are defo considering a deal? If so - in the interests of keeping you in the picture - you should know that I'm going to see John Banks 406 V6 tonight as its a car I've always been interested in replacing the scooby with. This is just so you know that if I decide I'd prefer the pug (which would give me a lot of change from the scooby sale) I won't be able to p/x for the golf. I'll keep you up to date with my thinking as and when it happens

Will do mike. I won't be buying anything tonight but I feel a 406 is a car I should check out given its price relative to torquey performance relative to equipment It ain't german though
