Looking for a new Scooby but I`m getting bogged down with all the different models, I know the basics but get confused with the Type R imports etc is there a guide on the internet or could anyone narrow down the models which would be the best choices.
Basically 10k ish to spend, not worried if its UK / Import, classic would best, new as poss and low miles.

Just picked up standard UK MY99, 28k miles, fssh, A/C, 2yrs warranty etc £10k
I wanted a totally standard, untouched one that I could do the work to so I know its not been absolutely leathered by previous 3 or 4 owners if you know what I mean. Although Im sure plenty of other people on here wouldnt agree thats the best way to go, but it gives me a bit of piece of mind

Looks like I got ripped off!
The only mod to mine was the back box (and the sun-roof.)

Not sure that you've been ripped off, I just bought mine the week before xmas. The guy at the (Citroen) dealership even told me that I would get an amazing deal because they werent selling any cars at that time of year.
Plus you get extra brownie points for the sunroof

No worries m8 the car I was trading in needed a new timing belt, rear trailing arms replaced and brakes done.
Needless to say I didn't tell the garage that.
I just wanted shot of it.

Nah, not at all m8. They try and stiff us at every available opportunity...what goes around....

I blagged top book on mine (Audi A3 1.8T), which needed a 75k service, 4 new tyres, new brake pads and had a slightly blowing exhaust very close to the cat (OOPS, did I forget to mention that, sounds expensive ) and a small crease on the rear wing!!! They must have been desperate to shift some motors, thats all I can say
