Full decat - turbo back for a decent power increase with soundtrack to match. Unless you are going for serious power, it doesn't really matter which you buy.
My choice - Magnex downpipe, magnex centre and Ninja backbox

I've just purchased an Afterburner Vortex and have a de-cat centre pipe and will be going for a Magnex down pipe in mid Feb. Great deep rumble, not as loud as a Blitz though.

Get yourself a 5Zigen exhaust if you don't mind it loud.

Peachy
Im looking at the mo as well, I have narrowed it down to 3:
Ninja backbox, the new backbox from Jap Innovations (havent seen it yet, should get to see it tomorrow) or I've been offered a Heyward & Scott backbox and magnex de-cat centre (£200) but I have heard that the H&S are quite loud, I just want a nice rumble not a deafening roar..
..so if anyone has any thoughts on those...

Jay-bee - I use to have a Firestorm, that would fit your requirements.

Who are H & S ? I heard that scooby sport ditched H & S due to quality and went to Janspeed. Give them a call very helpfull with years of experiance. i think they are developing a full 3" system for the STI9

Didn't realise that H&S werent making them anymore. Do you have any contact details for JSP. I have been on their website, no Scooby stuff listed.

Apparently, Heyward & Scott used to make the original Scoobysport exhausts and they (by most accounts)were very good, but H&S fell out with them. Scoobysport now uses Janspeed.

Incidentally, I have now bought the Magnex decat centre and H&S backbox. £200 fitted, cant complain at that
Not getting it until the 14/02 tho

not trying 2 put out a poll r anything, but....sumone even mention a 120db exhaust!! is this even possible? figures anyone? at idle (ie.2000rpm) and cruising (ie. 4000rpm)db... mind u stock exhaust is around 88/89db idle.

Louby

Would you care to explain why every single one of your 14 posts have been purely to suggest or promote Janspeed?

It is insulting to the membership of this forum to conduct business in this way. I will be incredibly dissapointed if it continues, and would personally consider it deeply damaging to Janspeed's reputation as the majority will almost certainly be convinced that you are a representative of them, and therefore their general business conduct.

I trust this will not continue.

regards

Simon

Stonkin - I managed to pick it at a good price off a mate, it retails around £700 for the system (cat-back). Your best bet is to speak to R C Developments for the different exhausts that 5Zigen do.

Red face

I think Louby has every right to shout about the services and products of Janspeed. If a company has done well then surely it is nice for every one to see. Well done those Boyz at Janspeed to receive some good publicity!!

He has every right indeed, but if you read all his posts, do you not think he is in the trade? If you do, pay a visit to the Scoobyunet Policy

Not sure who you are Louby but as the webmaster suggest something to do with promoting Janspeed or Scoobysport. Before you start shouting your mouth off about matters you obviously know nothing about the reason we dropped Scoobysport is because they tried to knock us for £12500.It took us 10 months and a court case to get it back.
Now this is settled they are using us again (COD) as well as Janspeed to supply them exhausts, proving that fitmemt and quality had nothing to do with the split.
