Question

A question from a friend really. He has had an airbag warning light coming on from startup for some time now and has recently lost all action from his horns. What do you think this could be techno boffins?

Not the most helpful response but looks like there is an electrical problem of some kind - get him to check his earth connections

Unhappy

Bad news I'm afraid. Just had exactly the same prob on MY98. Its a rotary switch in the steering column which needs replacing. The part is approx 250 pounds + fitting(ouch!). My dealer told me that it could not be repaired only replaced

Regards
DJ

Question

mortywrx,
tried to get the site you mention with no success. Any chance you could check it for me as my friend is a cheapskate and wants to save himself a couple of hundred quid. Tightwad.
Thanks, monkey.

Just remember to observe all the precautions when disconnecting an airbag - don't want your mate to lose his face...
