Cool

This is a common problem, when subaru service your car they spray the seals around the windows with a sillicone sealent or they are supposed to,if it is not that check the seals around the rear lights, water can sometimes get in there.

Had this too - used a sponge to dry it (not very easy access to that area) and so far it's been dry - will check again but I didn't find the source.

The rear lights are my first suspect, and then the spoiler. It's an easy fix with B&Q silicon based flexible roof sealant!!

Been there and got the (damp) T shirt.

I had water in the wheel well and the jack well for weeks, on and off. A complete pain in the *** !

I resealed the n/s rear light cluster and <touch wood> it seems to have done the trick.

Sitting in the boot with a torch, while your mate pours water on the boot is only fun for so long. Especially when he ***** off for half an hour and leaves you in there

Mike.

Yeah, just to add my two pence worth, I too had a swimming pool in the spare wheel well, the nearside rar lamp was the culprit. Make sure you take it out and clean all the old crap off then reseal, dont just try to cover the leaks with the thing in situ.
