Hi all,

I went to south devon from south wales today, did about 75mph all the way, then we were almost there when climbing a hill in 5th gear doing 4,000 rpm when the check engine light come on. I thought the worst, so we stopped at the top of the hill turned the engine off and waited 1 or 2 minutes started the engine and the light had gone off. 10 miles down the road and the same routine after that it never happened again.

So my question is why or what could of caused the light to come on.

Any help would be very grateful.
