I'm sure a great deal of "scubby" drivers on here will be surprised that the "Jigga" in this article has modified it, thus making him stand aside from all other owners who have left theirs standard.

bits'n'pieces - this is common practice on VW beetles, part of the Cal Look process. The actual locking mechanism is operated by a solenoid so that when the door us unlocked via a zapper, the door just "pops" open enough to get hold of the edge.
