a bunch of no-bodies drove both. they ALL prefered the drive and the looks of the EVO. and it was better on the saxo chase.

this was the re-run from 2001 right?

the thing u have to bear in mind is that the evo was £29,995 and the sti was £25,995. given that they were complaining over the power and handling of the sti compared to the evo, for the £4,000 difference, u could get:

handling:
new tyres (f1)
bump-steer and alignment

power:
full decat & filter
ecu and remap

you'd still have a good couple of grand left over (fmic, injectors, turbo).

tho having said that if i were about to drop £26k on a car, i'd expect it to be perfect out of the box
