Hi Guys and Gals,

I would like to replace my existing exhaust on my 1997 Turbo, I am looking at the Scooby Sport or Blitz. Do I just go for a back box or complete system ? Has anyone got any info. on either of these systems, or any other suggestions?
I am looking to replace in the next 2 weeks, and are there any dealers that can fit near North London, as I work in town during the week, and go home to Dorset weekends only.

Magnex is another one to consider, which is what I run.

Heard the BPM backbox at the weekend and it sounds fantastic - most people thought that it was a full decat system on Shaun's car - well worth thinking about.

Im just having the ScoobySport rear box fitted as we speak
So ill let you know what its like shortly.

I spoke to alot of people before I purchased the exhaust and most people said go for the scoobysport although I believe the Scoobymania is also very popular.

Ive only changed the rear box, as Ive been told that if you fit the scoobysport downpipe and de-cat the mid-section this can make the exhaust note too loud.
Depends on what u want really.

Im looking for a full system as well, im kind of convinced to go the Pete Croney way. Does anyone know why his exhaust is 2.5 inches wide and scoobymanias is 3inches (big boy!)

What difference does this make and which is better suited to the MY01 WRX?

Talking

Just had the Scorpion BB and de-catted centre pipe fitted.

Tickover sounds ace - under full throttle it's even better. I do a lot of motorway driving so low noise was a key consideration for me - it wins in this department as well.

Oh, nearly forgot. Mid-range pick-up is now much better as well!

jza,
2.5 diameter gives better torque lower down the range , whilst 3" gives more top end power usually , but car has to be revved harder.

Loads of bottom end torque!!!!
Turbo spools up muck quicker!!!

Hi there

A perferated straight through jobbie is the path to less restriction

Something like a Trust Power Extreme II (http://www.trust-power.com/product/ExhaustSystem/PowerExtreme2Muffler.htm).
