Just asked for more details on a Scorpion Exhaust (De-cat centre & Backbox) that's for sale.
What does everyone think about these? Are they loud?

I cant say what it sounds like on a Scoob as I am still waiting for delivery of my first one !
I did however have one on a Punto GT. It was loud but not over the top. A real nice throaty burble that turned into a roar when the turbo cut in. I did find the noise annoying on long journeys, but the car is like a tin can anyway ! Quality was excellent
and when I took it off I sold it for nearly the same money as I paid for it. Performance went up by 5-10 bhp on the dyno
depending on engine temp. Hope this is of use.

Do it, do it, do it!
I had one fitted last weekend by TN and it's the mutt's! Lovely burble at tickover and it sounds awesome pulling hard through the gears. High speed cruising noise level is really good as well.

Scorpion centre section is fantastic, just a 2.5" drainpipe 
Backbox is the same as the Prodrive PPP one (not suprising as Scorpion make/made the PPP backbox
) Great build quality, and quieter than the Scoobysport back box - good or bad 
but still gives a nice bark!

All this praise is making me even more excited to get rid of my standard backbox and centre section and hear that famous Scooby grumble through a proper system.
