Many customers, friends & others have come to me complaining about the last episode of Top Gear & them placing the "classic" Scooby into the "crock" category.

I will collate details of user names & mail this to the Top Gear team to try & persuade them to move this from the "crock" to "Classic" where it should belong.

Simply just write "CLASSIC" or "Crock"

Thank you for your support, together we can get this changed

You are kidding aren't you? Who cares what they think, not me for one. They could have put the Impreza in the "steaming pile of sh*t" category and I wouldn't give a toss.

TBH I think mailing them a petition just shows them that their half baked opinions are of some consequence.

 

Just out of interest does anybody remember *every* car in the classic list? It's one of those things you see, laugh at then forget 'coz it's only the opinion of a couple of TV presenters!

 

I'm seriously considering forming a list of names of those of us who wish to be disassociated with those who are complaining but that would make me as **** as those who are getting wound up enough to actually e-mail the BBC.

I have seen countless threads where Impreza owners say they are not bothered by what other people think of their car.

 

Please, please, please, don't send this petition to the BBC, all you will get is them taking the p!ss on Top Gear. The Crock/Classic thing was just a bit of fun, get over it. I mean they put a Nissan Bluebird on the Classic side FFS...............

Criteria set by Top Gear:

1) Rare
2) Good looking
3) Special

1) The classic Impreza is not rare! The market is flooded with early imports, thanks to Subaru UK taking so long to get them in back in the good old days of 1998/99.

2) I know I've owned them before, I would not once say it was a good looking car! It's an ugly car, but in my eyes in a good way! Basically a generic saloon with a spoiler and round fog lights!

3) There is no doubt the car is special and brought high performance at very low costs!

Get a grip, it's only a car and it's only a TV programme!!! Not life and death!

Petition.. pah! Why don't you set up a petition to reduce fuel costs for the elderly as if one elderly person dies this winter as they can't afford to run their heating, that's one too many!

 

Following Top Gears criteria, the Impreza is still a crook!

Evo's on the other hand will fall into the Classic catergory!

 

Thought classic cars were all rare items ?

22b / p1 fall into this but not yer everyday impreza.

Not starting a war, but its a tv show.......

and also this is the opinion of 2, yes only 2 people on a tv show, one used to write about cars and the other used to present radio cumbria, come on guys make your own mind up over this!! for every action there is a reaction, my god 2 guys are getting this reaction, its not as if they slated the queen now is it!!

I think if the TG presenters get to hear they will take the mickey even more.

I think TG is pretty good now, but its moved away from being a serious review of cars to being a light hearted look at cars (it was needed amoung all the other serious car programs). So don't take them seriously because they don't take cars seriously themselves.

Yep complain really really hard so they get rid of top gear and then they can do another :

1) Let do some DIY program
2) Let buy a house program
3) Lets do up a garden program

4) Another soap opera


You may not like some of the program or content but get real guys do you want one of the above to replace it. That where the petition should be more car programs not having a go at the ones that are on.

If I believed every motoring journo I would have to own 150 cars to have the best one .
