Assaulted in London: Met Police
#1
My gfs friend was assaulted in London by her boyfriend after attending the peace march with him last week (possible schizophrenic / manic depressive). Apparently 10 mins beforehand she was so concerned he was following her that she walked up to a plod car (3 plods inside) who refused to help her although she said she was fearing for her own safety.
She ended up in hospital after having been punched in the face, dropped to the floor, then kicked in the head quite a few times. She still has a headache and has been told this might last for weeks. Shes black and blue all over so was obviously kicked elsewhere.
My question is why havent the Met Police been round to see the bloke or take a statement from her?
Kent Police have offered to intervene and take the case over but the Met have said they cant let them do that - why?
Havent registered with 5-O so if someone has a log in could they post this on that forum and email me the replies?
Thanks

Pretty sure hes now the ex! Although she was the bit on the side
There are rumours that hes done this before and something worse to other women.
WTheF wont the Met go and find him or ask Kent Police to do it for them? Apparently a Met Chief Insp is looking into why the 3 plods refused help and is going to **** on them from a very great height.

Maybe they were to busy swapping parking ticket tips......
very sorry to hear about that..If that was my wife and she had asked for help. I would ruin their careers and then lives.

sorry to hear that S96 but i should imagine the met are regarding it as a "domestic" and therefore given it a priority slightly lower than zero. sad but true.

Has she made a statement about the offence - if not do so, then the crime will be given an OIC (officer in the case). I presume that she knows the address of this male, his DOB, where he works - so he will be easy to find.
The crime has happened in the Mets area and it is therefore their crime to deal with.
The three in the car should have interveined at the time.
Domestic related crime is taken v seriously by police and courts and should be dealt with as such.
I would make complaints to the met and i would ask her local police satation to take her statement (if she hasn't given one) and send it down to the nearest Met station to the crime. Ask her local police station to create an incident at that station, so that she can find what the Met intend to do.
Good luck!!!
