Hot start your Engine
I suppose this is not so relevant now, but it is certainly nicer to install at this time of year.
It is a 120W engine sump heater that you plug into the mains in your garage (outside is possible too if you use the right power leads). I had one that went into the engine sump plug when I had a car in Scandinavia which work really well - but I didn't fancy that on my new MY00 scooby so I went for the stick on type. It is like a oversized plaster.
Although it will be of most use whilst in Winter (particularly Scotland) I reckon it helps at any time of the year. I've got a remote power socket for mine that I can switch on from the house 30min to 1h30 before you want it (not sure yet on exact times). The depths of winter might be 2/3 hours - so a power socket timer could be used.
I hope this info it is of interest to someone as I felt I have learnt a lot from this BBS I thought I could give a little back
A quick and rough page with the pictures is here .....

In the war they used to light fires under the panzer tank engines to thaw them out.......
maybe thats why there are so many cars burning on estates in Newcastle / Manchester / Birmingham, perhaps the lads think they are WW2 tank drivers ?

Took a look at the pic's on the sight, looks like a block of cemtex with detonator!
Im sure its a good idea but, everyone seems to be more interested in getting air con fixed and what sun glasses are in fashion.

This is obviously much too embarrassingly boring mod for a Scooby.
