Question

I have just had a look at a Scooby’s oil sump and a Cossie’s oil sump. The Scooby’s is a lot smaller. The whole area seem to be tight for space. Wouldn’t that be responsible for some of the blown engines on the track (cornering hard, sudden loss of oil in some parts of the engine bang ) I obviously could be talking a lot of b***ks .
I know some people are trying to modify them by adding (a shelf like thingy inside the original). What do you guys think ?

Cool

Sam..

The Sump is quite a good design...

It fits over the subframe...

It already has horizontal side baffle in there.. and the oil pickup is in the centre...virtually as low as it can be.. it's only just above the bottom of the sump...

I'm puzzled about Oil starvation.. but we arent going to start that topic again...

J.
