Is it just me, or can women not shut the doors on the car proparly! I keep on explaining to the missus that she MUST close the door using the handle. Not the dam glass!!

Every dam day i have to clean the finger prints from that passenger side window. Is it just me?! Am i the only one who gets rather annoyed at this!

Pleaze tell me other guys out there have the same problem! Is their a cure??!!!

Even worse is her habit of trying to get out whilst I am reverse parking!

Simple cure, as she's about to get out, drop the window down.

I allow mine to use the glass anyway as she always get a zap from the door.

I get all the above from my 11 year old daughter ....and she puts her foot on bottom of the inner door pannle be4 getting out !

Double wammy with my misses... she not only uses the glass (due to the static shock she sometimes gets off the metal) but also slams the door shut the majority of the time.

BTW, I've been advised by several dealers that you want to avoid shutting the door via the glass as it can mis-align the windows.

Yeh there is, have some kids.... you'll soon stop going on about the glass and worry about muddy footprints on the back of the seats

 

get your revenge when in her car - especially effective at this time of year when the windscreen gets misted up - wipe it clean with your hands - the streakier the better.

When she complains just remind her of her own hands on glass antics.

The big problem is using my car as a dustbin [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img] This also includes my lovely daughter!!! After a family outing, I have to wipe my feet to get out into the street!!!

Women - can't live with 'em, can't chop 'em into tiny pieces and feed them to the dog.....

My 1 year old son draws on the windows when he sees the condensation on them.
At least hr cant get that close to them because he licks the ones in the house. If I shout at him he cries and the wife shouts at me.

On a side note a teenage scumbag tried to steal the mates nextdoor neighbours car. He caught him beat him, put him in the car sat on him and closed the door on his hand.

Stick some cling film over the glass on her side. Then after she gets out and closes the door make a big fuss of peeling the film off the glass "helmet visor tear-off stylee"!

 

Finger prints on the glass I can live with. What really gets me is when women close the doors with their house/car keys in their hands. The nice rattle of keys on paintwork sends shivers down your spine.

Of course, after a night out, I'm not going to bugger-up my chance of a sh@g over something like that

HE does not understand the pain it causes me to see my car treated so badly. Hence he does not drive it very often as i dread to think what damage he could do!

its not the wife its the effing mother in law, I have banned her from the car. I asked her not to last time she was in the car and she looked straight at me and di it anyway.

The kids is a big prob for me........time after time they would shut there back doors not realising the selt belt hasnt retracted and a nice bang as the door hits the selt belt...

Make her some mittens from polishing cloths and make her wear them when entering and exiting the car.

Similar invention, as employed by the Japanese, for cleaning the floors. Basically a suit for your baby to wear with polishing bits underneath. Whe the baby crawled around the floor they polished it at the same time.
