From Greasby, Wirral 1am(ish) Saturday morning. Broke in to the house, took girlfiends keys to move her car off the end of the drive, broke the secuirty light which covers the drive and took my scoob. Dark Mica Green, gold wheels, scooby sport back box, very loud thanks to the TSL downpipe, got an Intermoto sticker in the back window, 97R. We were in bed when it happend.

Cops think it's probably gone to liverpool, there are loads of performance cars getting stolen on the Wirral at present.

Well p!ssed off, don't really want it back now...

Any ideas as to how much a good condition, full Subaru history, 84K, R97 UK is gonna be worth in terms of insurance settlement.

Leigh

sorry to hear this.

Don't know how much, but best bet is somewhere between trade and A1 in Glasses Guide, AFAIK.

Gutted for you mate
Hope you get things settled OK, and at least you and the missus didn't have to confront the buggers.

sorry for your loss...

Best bet is to see what dealers are charging and have a look in autotrader. If you get offered less turn it down..

Glad to hear that u and ur's weren't hurt during the robberey

B@ST@RDSthe fecking lot of em, what the **** is wrong with this country, u work hard to get the things u want then some thieving bunch of w@nkers nick it or if they can't nick it they fecking damage it by keying it just for the fun of it, and IFbig fecking if they get caught, the judge justs slaps them on the fecking wrist and there out doing the ****** again
Its about time these who make the rules, should be sitting down and making some bloody new one's, like 5yrs means 5yrs not out in 30mths for good behaviour, go stick em in a fecking quarry and let em break rocks for 12 hrs a day.

i could go on..but i wont.......

I don't know why more people don't have alarms where the downstairs can be isolated.

If anyone tries to break in I know as soon as a sensor is triggered (just as well as I've just bought a P1).

What good would an alarm downstairs do? these guys who want ur car by the sounds of it are deadly serious and pobably wouldn't hesitate to use violence againts ur nearest and dearest to get it, so an alarm while good for ur insurance company might not deter these w@nkers, i personally leave my keys (and yes i have a house alarm)where, should **** happen they will se um and take em,i wouldn't dream of putting my family's life at risk for the sake of my scoob, the scoob's replaceable my family aren't.

Deako1 thanks mate, mine didn't have speedlines, althought I might mention it to the cops later, easy to swap over a set of wheels.

Seriously guys this has really **** me and Mrs up, these f**kers will get your motor if they want it badly enough, alarms or not, the last thing you want is to confront them, and I'm not that small.

Sorry to hear about that mate I Feckin hate the low life tossers who think it is their god given right to take other peoples property.
The comment early about putting them in a quarry to break rocks is almost right. We should put them in a quarry so we can stone the c**** to death.

I agree with the comment that the ******* should be able to get your keys easily once inside your house - i.e not through your letterbox. Most people sleep upstairs so if they can see them easily once downstairs then they wont bother you upstairs.
