Representing Scoobynet in TOTB II - Japanese Performance
Just thought I'd post the picture for members who haven't seen this months issue of Japanese Performance of our very own Mr. J. Felstead strutting his stuff in his Impreza STi RA on the circuit of TOTB2.

Nice one John

Nice one John
Hate to be picky but Scoobynet did not enter a team as it was decided by the powers that the invitation to put a team together was not appropriate.
It is a great pic - of a key member of the 22b.com team

Rannoch is correct, it was the 22b.com team

IIRC, John did 1 drag combined with top speed run, then changed his wheels to concentrate on the handling.
He did one practice run, then on the 1st attack attempt, his engine went.
This was a big shame, because John would have done well. His car looked superb, as always, and the stickers were dedications to the recently lost rally drivers.
So John could unleash his talent a bit more on the day, i let him have a few runs in my car on the handling circuit. This was a brilliant moment for me, mainly because i had not seen my own car driver in attack mode, but not only that, driven so smoothly.
For Johns effort and bad luck, he deserved to get published in the magazine.
*cough*I am also in Jap Performance*cough*

Thanks guys, Thats a really nice picture.
Thanks for putting the videos up Sonic!
The 1/4 mile run was against the clock, rather than the oponent, so i didnt go until i was happy with the revs. That was the first 1/4 i had done in 12 months, so i was just trying to get it off the line without stalling.
The car sounds great on the handling track, very nice at the start, but oh dear, listen to that death rattle over the finish line and as i go past the camera coming off. Have to say i was gutted as i had a good chance of doing very well there.
Big thanks to Steven for letting me have a go in his Wagon, fantastic engine in that car and it was setup really nicely for lift off oversteer, which was a lot of fun.

That was an expensive rattle!
I noticed the credis too,
would have been for organising the Subaru entry i would think.
I liked how they showed my car sideways with plenty of lock on with the commentary about how some people go for sophistication.
