Yes Rich change the up-pipe as well if you can that is what i meant by a full exhaust.
The power gains you will get with an Ecutek and the complete system are fantastic, there is a small Cat in the up-pipe and although it seems expensive to change it i would still get it done and let an expert do it as its a pain in the a#se to replace.

Oops forget to add i would personally go for the Hayward and scott system and get Knowsely at Extreme Scoobies to fit it.

Been adviced by powerstation - magnex down pipe, equal length headers and ECU TEC, he said if I was to change the up pipe I might as well swap for equal lengh headers as it would only cost £300 more

Is there a better way to spend £1500 ish

( I already have tsl centre and firestorm)

I wouldnt bother with the equal length headers, just go for the full exhaust and the Ecutek custom remap, there have been threads on here that the people who have bought the headers were not happy about the supposed gains (that didnt happen) and also that your plastic belly pan doesnt fit back on when the headers are replaced.

A tubular manifold won't give you much extra power unless you change the injectors. Even with standard manifold it's quite easy to max. out the injectors. Perhaps a little more midrange torque with the manifold.

A proper remap, exhaust and uppipe will give you a MASSIVE improvement over standard!

Mark.

There is one bugeye posting recently who has apparently got ~20lbft extra torque out of changing the headers, but that is with uprated fuel pump & regulator, plus custom map, IIRC. Other option is to just port the OEM headers, which isn't a very tricky job, speak to Knowlesey about that - remeber speaking to him when I got mine done (he was at scoobysport at the time)

With up-pipe, APS sports cat system, ported OEM headers and an ECUTEK, I got 284bhp/272lbft. Magnex/ H&S system without the cat will be a little cheaper and give very similar results, although I'll pass an MOT and you wouldn't!
