My landlord has got a Advent L8400 laptop and the power supply is shagged. Has anyone got one by any chance ? Or does anyone know where I can get one from ?

I got one from maplins over the counter - It wasn't Advent specific, but it had the same output figures. Phone you local branch and give them the figures on the back of the power supply

That laptop is actually an Asus L8400, most likely a B revision.

This may help you to source a correct power supply.

I had one of those exact Advent Laptops, hence how I know and it flashed perfectly to a normal 8400B too.
