Over the past couple of days I can smell petrol when idle - this has never happend before. I hope it's nothing serious.

What do I do? (apart from enjoying the smell!)

 

Drive out of the filling station

 

Go to your nearest dealer and get it sorted

You haven't said the model you are driving or if you have had any work done lately

Reason I'm asking is after I had PPP fitted to mt Sti8, there was a petrol smell which was down to the seal on the petrol pump. They don't supply a new seal so the old one was used. Once a new seal was fitted it was OK. I to only noticed the smell stationary

 

Its a UK99.

No mods done recently - this just started a couple of days ago.

Semi-decat, induction, VTA BOV...
