Information required on 1993 Type RA engine
Someone I know over in Australia has a 1993 (I think STI) type RA engine - one with a fifth injector.
He has no information on this engine and is seeking as much technical information as possible on it. I think he wants to strip the engine and do some work on it, but would like to have plenty of background knowledge on this. A technical manual either online, on CD or one that is purchaseable would be fantastic.
Anyone who can help please either email me as per profile or post on here.
Many thanks in advance.
Michelle.

Just to note that I have done a search on this and haven't found as much information as needed.
Although if anyone does do a search and finds something then I apologise for not looking hard enough!

It's a closed deck competition engine, but other than that it's the same job as any other EJ-series DOHC engine to take it apart. YOu must remove the camshafts in order to losen the cylinder head bolts. And when disassembling the block halves, check for hidden screws! Some of the m are in the water jackets. They have special washer with a sealing function - be sure to use new ones when putting the block back together again.
