Over the years there have been many exceptionally unfunny people on the telly. Pauline Quirke, Lily Savage, the cast of 2.4 children. But tonight I saw the least funny person in the history of the human race – Ruby Wax. A dose of syph is funnier. It is possible to randomly pluck someone off the streets of Kabul who is funnier. This woman must be holding some TV executive to a ruinous blackmail to be permitted a career in television.

I can honestly say, hand on heart, that I would rather chew gravel than watch her annoying people through the wonderful communications medium that is television...
