Can you explain what sort of difference it made..???

What mods you had before the remap e.t.c..??

Im going to be getting this at the end of the month, my car is an MY95 WRX and has a cat back blitz exhaust and filter with dawes set at 13-14psi. running 261bhp.

Cool

fit one socket(pennies)buy chip(remapped) £75 from scott and fit into ecu simple as that.i also added a switch so i can use the standard map as well.none of my other mods have made such a noticeable difference except they cost s%&t loads more.

You can just unplug the mines chip and rejoin link J1 to return ECU to standard

I have an ecu, but can't remember what its off or where I got it (worrying !!!)
It has this written on it
8S
22611 AD190
A18-000 D37
and on the yellow socket 000 D37

If anyone can tell me what it is or what off I can get rid of it to someone who needs one !
Cheers,
Stan

David,

Mines ECU is a stock ECU with a mines chip fitted in the usual place. However, the chip is soldered diredt, so it'll be a complete a-r-s-e to get out and not worth the hassle or potential damage.

Dan,

Alan Bell has a car with one of the maps that I use in it, air filter, exhaust, and a set of headers and got 296bhp or so.

My car is a MY93 WRX with a Scoobyecu, scoobysport decat system and K&N panel filter. At Well Lane last weekend it made 277bhp and 239lbs/ft torque. I was very impressed as it was a warm day as well!
