-------------------------------------------------------------------
I have just been informed by my colleague regarding the matter of my car, which has been totally been BLOWN OUT OF PROPORTION.

First and foremost, the car was taken by some of my friends on my behalf in order to collect car parts from Beadale and also a radiator from Leeds/ Bradford airport.

Upon arrival to the airport, the fellow friend, whom can be contacted by his mobile number told them to proceed to an industrial estate. WHERE he would meet them in a SCOOBY.

Therefore, entering upon the estate. They drove around upon to look out for a scooby, where upon they stumbled towards the back of the estate, and spotted a scooby MY99. Whom they thought belonged to the friend with the part, whom they had arranged to meet-up with. However, whilst they phoned him to ask if the black standard scooby belonged to him, they were told that he had just entered the estate and that his SCOOBY was blue with 51 reg.

Unbeknown, to them they had been followed to the back of the estate by a certain gentleman I presume JERRY. Who uttered some words to them. They took little notice as they wanted to meet up with the fellow friend ASAP and thought nothing of it.

Inevitably they drove straight to the front of the estate, where they chatted to the friend for 20mins before commencing their journey back.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

JERRY’S conceived idea to think that they were about to embark upon an attempt to steal or whatever to your fellow friends scooby IS ABSOULTELY WRONG. As you can understand, the reason WHY they stopped at this scooby, was in fact they genuinely thought that it belonged to the friend whom they would collect the car part from.

THEY WERE NOT THERE ON ANY ILLEGITIMATE BUSINESS--JUST TO COLLECT SOME CAR PARTS.

If you had stuck your nose just a bit further, you would have seen them park towards the top of the estate, where they were greeted by a blue 51 scooby.

ALSO, they stayed in the car whilst you made your comments AND DIDNT DRIVE OFF, DUE TO THE FACT OFF YOUR WEAKLY PRESENCE. IT WAS SIMPLY THEY RECIEVED A PHONECALL AT THAT TIME AND WERE
INSTRUCTED AND IT WAS THE WRONG SCOOBY.
---------------------------------------------------

IN FUTURE, JERRY

I suggest you actually find the real story and the real facts before you share your highlight adventure of the day on how a car was spotted possibly "loitering" near colleague’s car and was up to no good.

If there was genuinely, a crime being committed and due to your presence was prevented. I’m sure your friend would have commended your actions.

BUT the truth of matter is, YOU were wrong. WHAT you saw, was completely innocent, But you jumped to conclusions and assumed the worst. My current car was NOT involved in any kind of mishap that you thought.

NEXT time use a bit of initiative, sport and think things through.

At the end of the day, this causes great stress upon me, and the previous owner. ALSO creates a bad reflection on my car, involved "in suspicious circumstances" especially the implications of the comments that you made.

BTW,

Lets just think for a moment and think it through, stealing a car in broad daylight in a known car.???!!!! makes no sense,

It is a standard scooby, absolutely no incentive to break in or which ever reasons you implied.

I don’t think how those criminals that steal this kind of scooby live it down, when they are caught by the police.

I AM HAPPY TO GIVE FURTHER CONTACT DETAILS OF MY SELF AND THE PEOPLE WHOM MY FREINDS ARRANGED TO COLLECT PARTS FROM IN ORDER TO CLARIFY THIS SITUATION,OR MEET FACE TO FACE TO DISCUSS THIS MATTER FURTHER.

Thank you

SCA

I dont see why the lads had to justify their actions, esp when the lads DIDN'T get out of my car, and just looked at a scooby, which they mistakenly thought as someone elses??

Then it would be understandable to speculae dusouicin circumstances form jerry's point of view.

Why didnt he follow them? and then would have realised he was breaking sweat over nothing. It have looked a little less convincing and dodgy fro his point of view, BUT he should have thought MAYBE there is another reason, rather than assuming the worst.

My point being it was a scooby, nothing special. To even suggest they wanted to steal that is embarrassing to say the least.

Sure, I drive a corsa and this is a scooby site, which are slightly better!... good observations aren't they?

Thumbs down

Well if your mates had took 10 seconds to explain themselves it would have all been avoided. Not difficult is it!

IMO Jerry did the right thing posting it on here.

I like the part about it being a standard scoob and no incentive to break into it....... OK what planet are YOU from then?!
As you seem to support your "friends" who could really be anyone couldnt they? we dont know that, nor did Jerry.
IMHO Jerry definately did the correct thing, if your "friends" were to have stopped on the main road/side road and not got out looking around the car (which is rather suspicious isnt it?) and phoned from somewhere else, then it wouldnt have looked suspicious in the first place would it??

Wouldn't you be slightly annoyed, especially when unnecessary pathetic threats are made to the previous owners of this car.

I haven't the slightest tension towards scoobies, jus the presumption of Jerry assuming my friend's had the intention
of "Stealing" a scooby, a standard spec is ridiculous.
