you need to find a place to upload you pic too ( free web space given to you when you signed up for a mail account ?? )
right click the image ho to properties and copy the URL ( address of the image )
then put up you post....
when you come to add your image to scooby net..then type
[img]put your image address here[/img]
(no spaces and dont type this bit )
then it will show up

It was just a guess. I thought it also might be a redundant exhaust gas sensor seeing as you've got a decat, or perhaps part of a "Tracker" type security system. Plucking at straws, I'm afraid, as my MY00 Turbo is locked-up for the night, & I can't crawl under it to compare until tommorrow.

Not really in the right place to be related to the fuel tank. There's not much other than gearbox/propshaft/shift linkage under that section of the car.
Following that pipe to its origin would no doubt throw a lot of light Jag, as would a close-up of whatever's on the end.
