Was supposed to take delivery of my new Silver STi8 today, has'nt turned up at my dealer yet though, so it's going to be a least Wendesday now!

Anyone else waiting for Silver ?

yes there are long delays expected on all colours including silvered one because the factory are too busy painting them nice and blue....hahahaa...:P

surely though the dealer should have called you to let you know, they must've known before today ?

 

I'm in the same boat but different car (WRX wagon) promissed 1/9 del by dealer now it's don't know when! Dealer told me that Subaru don't give concrete delivery dates. Car supposedly is on a delivery truck somewhere in the U.K. Not a very happy chappy at mo. additional to this my first scooby so you can imagine my dissapointment.

I can confirm that the Subaru Dealer in Leicester told me that the delivery date on the computer is not a cast-iron guaranteed date as the logistics company in the UK take over at some point and after that its wait and see

however mine turned up the day they said ..... sorry!

 

could be worse - I ordered a silver sti in late March, planned delivery mid june, still not here, now boat said to be docking this week, arriving 2-3 weeks!

 

Ordered my Black STi-8 in July, got it 1 Sept.

They do have a black STi demonstrator for sale at John Wildings in Morcame ~2000 miles if anyone does not want to wait

At last, should be delivered tonight!

It did actually arrive Tuesday night but insurance company have been a bit slow transferring the money.

 

Another silver - how common (I think there are 4/5 silver STi8s on the BBS).

Hope you enjoy it and get the first 1000 miles out of the way quickly - well not over 4000rpm quick!!

LOL - Heritage told me a date - car turned up 2 weeks later

embeegebee, your delivery is rediculously long. hate to tell you this but the STi9 has already come out.. LOL

also I think AK47 is in Hong Kong (see thread on "are u happy with PPP?") - a much shorter trip for a boat from Japan!!
