Looks like I made a bit of an fool of myself....
Here I am working 12 hour nights with 2 other chaps and I see from the window a car pull into the carpark at work and park next to mine. Nothing to worry about we have cctv and a secuity guard 24*7.
After about a min go for a better look and see 2 men giving the car the once over.
Security guard no where to be seen....typical!
What to do? Run outside with large piece of wood, or make a note of reg and call police!
I take the run outside option but decline from taking the wood, and at the top of my voice shout "What the **** do you think your doing". The aforementioned gentlemen **** themselves and back away, saying they have just called the security guard to let them in?
It appears they were managers doing a spot of disaster recovery testing from a differnet office and were having a quick *** waiting for the guard who was doing his rounds.....Doh

Red faces all round, and a email to my manager on anger management from the visiting duo.....Must stop reading the posts on nicked or attempted thefts of Scoobys, am getting so damn paranoid

Just going to take a stress pill and calm down now....

Don't worry mate iam the same, ever since i joined scoobynet all i read about is scoobys going missing and all i seem to do is keep checking out the window to make sure my scooby is safe .
Girlfriend goes nuts at me . Then the next thing i get from her is "YOU CARE MORE ABOUT THAT FOOKIN CAR THAN YOU DO ME " . So i just tell her that if she was sitting outside i would keep looking out to make sure that she was safe aswell .

Maybe the "greeting" would have been somewhat less problematic had you not included the ****

Can't really blame you, but I bet your new manager-friends won't be parking near any Scoobies for while

I think that you were right in your approach & any "email" is out of order. It could've been the MD's car or other company property.

Bonus for proactive company security IMHO

Mine knows she's 3rd on the list.... (1=Daughter 2=PTMW! )

Can't blame you for your actions. Did they really mention "anger management" to your boss? Looks like more and more people are living "by numbers" these days!

Just because they are managers doesn't give them the right to complain. I would have done the same in your shoes.

How would you have felt if you had done nothing and your car had got damaged!!

I think action first in this case was the better response.
WELL DONE!!

Imagine how you would have felt if you had ignored it and found your car vandalised, broken into or even worse missing 5 minutes later !

CCTV is ok for helping find the ******* afterwards, but prevention stops the heartache.

As for the the anger management email, I'd storm the managers office and tell him where to stick it - politely obviously
