It means the car has been bought from a dealer 2nd hand at some stage and as such came with a warranty and such like, it also has to meet certain criteria like less than 60k, 5 years old I think something like that.

Its normally the sticker the roadtester in the factory sticks on after the road test on the subaru test track at the factory, had a friend who worked at Honda doing the same job,if it passes it gets a sticker and parked one place if it fails it goes back to the section it failed on untill it passes.

Cool

The ok sticker means your car has passed a vehicle inspection & quality control in the FACTORY. It has nothing to do with second hand cars. Many years ago i worked in the nissan factory & all jap car companys same to have the same procedure.

It's a Japanese thing, and didn't used to be restricted to cars. Anyone with an oldish Jap camera will know the little gold stickers with OK on them.

So I can remove it without any fear of warranty issues from the dealer etc......

I think it just means it's OK to leave the factory, seem to recall other Jap cars (Nissan & Toyota) having a similar sticker too.

OK means the car was at first rejected by the quality control (generally if the car is dented or been damaged on the production line or the engine didn't work or something like that) but then re-inspected and classified as "OK".

Hope that answers the question.

Yup, it seems to be a Japanese thing. Cameras, videos and the like that I've bought in the past have all had an 'OK' sticker. As do Nissans, Toyotas, Mazdas.....
