Went to Calais on Monday to pickup some booze, so I decided to pump up the tyres. I was very surprised when checking the correct pressures to use on the drivers side door chart that the pressures are exactly the same for 225/45 whether your car is loaded or not. Is this right? Whereas for the 215/45 it was different for the rear tyres.

Strange, as STI7 have same wheels and size and have different pressure indicated front and back. Might have something to do with the "improved steering" on the STI8 ? Anyway, best to try it out to your personal liking.
