intake manifold '01 wrx vs '99 turbo

I have an opportunity to change my original '99 turbo intake manifold for a 01'wrx's.
One obvious advantage is more place under the manifold so that the air inlet tract from K&N to the turbo can be changed for the one more efficient. Another thing is that the manifold comes together with wrx fuel rails so they will also match my new sti injectors.
Are there any other advantages / disadvantages I should be aware of?
