Unhappy

As some of you might know, I'll be joining the baby brigade soon and my P1 has to go

On Saturday 19th July, My first punter came over, and after my pregnant wife took him for a Spin around the roundabouts, he bought it. Should be going sometime next week.

Should have seen the grin he had when he came back

I've enjoyed myself immensly in the P1.... to me.. it will always be the ultimate car.

Mind you the new toy if it comes off, has a Twin Turbocharged engine developing 272BHP, and according to brochure 380NM torque!! should be good fun

Give you a clue, LOTS 'n' LOTS of those air baggy things everywhere. Come complete with the 'COMFORT PACK' Slippers, Pipe and a tartan coloured blanket!!!

Speak soon,
Regards,
Mark

Yep - your gonna need um!

Just as BMW can sell a low level 3 series at ridiculous prices because of marketing, Volvo can do the same for safety!

But hey, I'm not going to make you think your not getting a safe a car as you may think or that you are a grandaddy already ;-)

Facts state Renault Megane, though having a controversial rear end is a very, very safe car to be in.
Congrats on the bairn

Adam M,

You can't mean Saab because they no longer make their own cars. And that advert with that aircraft quit long ago!

Sorry, I just had to register to reply to this thread.

Without wanting to rub it in I looked at Volvo's but decided I didn't want to join the flat cap brigade (again - 440 GLTi in a previous life ) and convinced the missus that a Scooby Turbo would be a fantastically safe car for me to ferry our kids around in as it has AWD and exceptional handling What a result !!

Two year old loves it to bits, and the flat four sends the 3 month old to sleep The silent, comfortable ride in your T6 won't do this for you....trust me

Two weeks of total bliss now....it's bog standard, but compared to my *cough* Mondeo I'm loving driving again

I agree, I figure that Subaru with its AWD and handling are very safe - especially in the wet. The dangers come when you decide to "play".
