Fellow Snetter donated this filter from his old car. What kind is it and will it fit my MY97 (facelift model)

 

if theres no name on it its proberly a cheapo one..id reckomend staying well clear as it will proberly fek up your maf sensor thourgh time with dirt and they cost around 120 quid....if you are after a inductin kit go for somthing like HKS or K&N as they are washable....ive been runing a HKS for about 9 months will no prob's yet

 

I have run an itg panel with resonator removed for over two years with no MAF failure.

Just was wondering if this would give me extra air?

that is one of those cheap "twister" universal filters!

i wouldn't fit it to my car but its your choice.
