how much oil do i need for an oil change on a GC8's EJ20 engine ???

RRR, the oil change procedure thing has been done to death over the last couple of weeks, either use the search facility or go straight to the "FAQ's on oil change" thread (in either General Technical or Drivetrain).

As for the amount, you're looking at 4.5 litres or so from empty.

 

If your not changing the filter just get 4 1/2 litres and fill it up until the full marking....

 

4.5 litres is correct.

Its a shame Mobil Motorsport comes in 4l cartons!!!!
