Hi All

Sorry we kept this one a secret as we didn't know until yesterday if we could definitely secure the tickets, but.

The winners have been selected randomly from the ScoobyNetPlus members and the first prize of :

2 Tickets to Saturday Practice including one of the rare and coveted car passes so you can park near the circuit!
2 Grandstand Tickets for Sunday again including car pass!

Goes to : dingy (unfortunatley!!! )

then second prize of :

2 General Admission Tickets including centre transfer for Sunday

Goes to : PCB

Could you please confirm that you can make these days. The tickets are not for resale, so if you can't make it, please let us know asap so we can bump other members up who could take advantage of them.

All the best

Simon

If anyone knows how to get hold of PCB that would be great. I've sent an email, but we could do with knowing asap and certainly today if possible.

All the best

Had a top time at the GP this weekend thanks to Scoobynet

Got there sat, morning, new traffic system worked mint, so glad that is sorted.

Watched the free practice at various points of the track during the corner speed of these cars is amazing, totally committed.

Then settled @ copse corner for the Porker GT Cup qualifying and F1 qualifying.

Was truly awesome watching the speed of the GT3's compared to the F1 cars.......must be over twice the speed thru this bend.

Anyway, as the F1 qual got going watch seeing how committed the drivers where in this bend........Jacques Villeneuve was the most committed by far....he is a nutcase.

But as the results came thru, the track got hotter, I got burnt to **** tooo........so rubens had the best time....Kimi was also very committed thru copse.

Watched some of the F3000 race, and saw Murrey interview Juan Pablo Montoya on the bmw which was very cool.

Had a look round the the stands, only F1 car on the stand that appeared to be real was the williams, hence all the minders on this stand, especially the dude with the tash MINT .

Left around 4, no worries getting out.

Sunday - race day

Left Jay's @ 6 silverstone is 40 mins away from his, took us over 2 hours to get in....nice new bypass, was used for a few 100 metres after the roundabout then u were sent off the old way unless u were on a bus or official.......so 4 lanes of empty traffic and thousands of people going the crap usual way into the circuit, this is amazing...... Not sure on details why this happened but seems pointless having come in on the sat not to have used this.....weird as..

Anyway, apart from that got in, got into the stand, had a mint view of the circuit from Pit straight A

Watched the maserati race, which ran under pace car for first few laps, was interesting to see all same cars in a race , these make an awesome noise

Then watched the parade lap from the infield, as we went for a walk round, typical all the drivers were looking away at the time they got to us LOL

Then watched the GT3 porker cup race, was cool as especially as I have had run in's with these round dono

Then the fosters birds came out with some loverly T & A's

Then the Red arrows did an awesome display, which was interupted by the F1 cars coming out...PMSL could no longer hear the arrows, just the F1 cars

After that the race got underway.......DC caused a Saftey car with head brace of his car coming off....

Race got better, then the NUTTER came on to track with some bible stuff.......what a tit, needs locking up this bloke.....BUT it did throw the race up with everyone coming in the pits.......both cars for each team....

Mint, the best bit of the day was button doing Michael Schumacher, got the crowd going, Rubens put in a proper good few overtaking manuvuors to win on the day, respect to him

Best sounding cars....IMHO

1. McLaren Mercedes
2. Jaguar
3. BAR Honda
4. Ferrari

Best looking merchandise

1. BAR Honda
2. Renault
3. Jaguar

One thing was there was hardly any McLaren stuff available.....

Burgers were pretty bad LOL and they only sold fosters and no stella

Got out dead easy, no problems at all.....

BIG Respect to Simon / Shaun @ scoobnet / scoobyplus for the tickets first time I won anything and it was AWESOME.
