The one in Cheltenham is used mainly for rural Policing. Its a joint effort between Gloucestershire Constabulary and one of the local Subaru dealers. The Police were getting pissed off that little tykes on stolen motorbikes and the like could get away from the Police simply by going over a bit of rough ground as their Volvo's and Vectra's aren't built to take it, so the Impreza gets used. Its a WRX model, and it also gets used to demonstrate Gloucestershires Policing policy at shows. The copper who drives it is rather chuffed!

 

Notts police have 2 Imprezas. They are both classics. A saloon and a wagon

 

Be careful though, that's the ultimate drug dealers disguise

 

Saw a fully stickered up jam sandwich classic in Catterick (N Yorks) yesterday.
