One of my friends is looking at buying an Impreza, as he's seen a couple at around the 4-5k mark, but is worried about their mileage - they've both done about 110,000 miles...do the Scooby engines age well or is this past their use by date? I seem to remember they both had full service histories, but that don't mean they still run well. Is there anything that can go wrong at that sort of age that he should watch out for?

It's a good sign that both have full service history.Do get the AA/HPI check done on the one he really likes.Costs a bit of money but will bring you a piece of mind.Usually they are reliable and high milage shouldn't be a prob if the service history is spot on.
