Richard Turner off here turned up with a mate to get some parts off the car I'm breaking. All seemed well and he was hard at work. I got a call a few hours later to say that Rich had caught his hand on some metal and cut a four inch gash in his hand!!!!

Poor fella, hope you are ok!

Further to that another Rich from Preston turned up to collect the front Sti seats. Only to learn that the subframes where more bent than I thought. Lots of swearing hammering and pulling later we'd managed to get the sti covers to fit Rich's straight standard frames. Bar abit of glue needed to stick the covers back to the foam job was a good un.......sorry for keeping you so long Rich and hope the seats turn out A ok.

All in all a total nightmare today........:-(

Bad news indeed.

Do you have side lights? (off-side needed for MOT)

Thanks, and pass on my thoughts to the injured party!!

Guys

Turns out the car doesn't have air con. Doh! Goes to show how much I know.

No fog lights whatsoever either.

Also turns out that most of the stuff Rich turned up to collect was not fit for use. Total nightmare. I'll be pushing breaking even on the car now. Only saving grace is the fact I now need some of the engines internals. Knowing my luck those will be shafted too.

Just so you know Paul that the momo one should fit as I fitted a momo wheel straight onto my boss so the holes are the correct size and pitch diameter etc Never heard back from the other guy, will have to post it up in the for sale section. Did you get those books by the way?

Charlie

Not got the books yet because I have no car today. Her car hasn't got a boss because it's just got a big airbag wheel that's one piece

breaking MY96. Drop me a mail with requirements.

That's good to hear about Momo's fitting the standard boss. I've got a Nardi one that I don't like and would like to fit a nice Momo one instead

Chris,

Preston my @rse - I had a 150 mile drive to Newport

Great drive back tho - less than 2 hours.

Bought some upholstery spray adhesive yesterday to try out on the seat tomorrow if the weathers good.

fingers crossed

Rich
