Just had the above fitted today and it seems the heatsheild no longer fits. What has anyone else done about this? It gets damn hot around it, bit worried?
The car is a 00MY classic.
Anything else i need to do as well ? The car is standard apart from now having a downpipe de-cat to match the center one done 6 weeks ago.

Yep, you have to cut the Heatshield so it fits

I had to on mine, were the ridge is (where it joins the top half) I cut the side of that off, fits a treat now

best double check to make sure tho

if you havent done already, change your backbox too

Apparently you dont need a remap for a full decat, but a lot of people have them to take full advantage

Im considering having mine done, or looking at a PPP Ecu
