Has anyone had the above applied to their car???
If so was it worth it, does it do exactly what it claims and how much did it cost??
My father is buying a new car and the dealership are trying to sell him this product.
thanks

Friend of mine has it on his Civic Type R, and has had trouble with it, apparently you can only clean the car with the correct Dimondbrite cleaner,
If i was you i would spend my money on a swissol polish kit, the results are amazing
do a search for mark underwood or Wax wizard or swissol on this board for results etc...

Im a cars salesman thats sells jewel ultra diamondbrite.
Its VERY expensive from the car dealer, two reasons.
1) They make a BIG profit.
2) They pay the salesman commission for selling it.
The product sells for between £199 - £299 depending on the dealer.
Heres my advise, i know the products only cost £35 - £45, so tell the dealer you will only buy the car if that is thrown in free.
Let me know how you get on.

Absolutly agree with Boro, I done some work for a Ford main dealer and this stuff defo costs about £35.Its not bad stuff but it wont stop any damage to the paintwork, alot of the sales pitch on this stuff is in my opinion very missleading. The money they sell it for would keep someone in Swissol for a very long time and i for one am yet to find better car care products than those.

it cost about £40 when i was a car valeter a few years back
of course this means i had massssssive amounts of stock of the stuff, which was sold to mates for £10 a kit
i had about 20 coats of it on my last vectra by the end of its ownership
it was pretty shiney
the scooby curently has 9 coats (on the white sections) the red sections havnetbeen coated yet as im running out (after about 3 years scince i stopped being a valater lol)
imo its good stuff IF its used as a regular wax, which is a bit pricey if u have to for out £299 every time, not so much a bummer for me tho (getting sum more stocks in soon from a valater mate
)
imo its a bit of a con, but it costs me nothing and it does give a good shine, the paintwork has to be top notch b4 its applied tho
****e paintwork and diamond brite dont go together
