Never said they were illegal to use mate, the shops have to be certified to sell plates and stick on ones don't fall in the category any more....

Proper sucks..

Just been on the phone to the cop shop......

this is the rules...

Stick on plate is legal.........yet government restricts the sale.....WTF

Vertical plane........guess that can be argued as nothing states what its vertical too.

Has to be able to be read from a standing person at 40yards and thats it...

apart from size of letters......

Don't think reflective is in the spec, as they never mentioned it.

Yes mate its for the escort....

Progress....

At presesnt....

Rewiring the car.....Talk about night mare.....all MK 2 Loom was green and old, so puting in new lighting loom, charging loom, electric fan loom, spot light loom, washer bottle loom...

Basically everything that was out side the car....replacing some of the loom inside that is broken or cut at any point so its as new....cut out the resister wires to the coil as this is old techonology and not used in the cossie.

So this is done this week, then the fueling setup goes in next week along with new rad, breather system and header tank.

Picking up my tarmac bilsteins and tension strutt kit on friday then its fitting the brake system.

MOT and TAX away we go

The engine goes in.

Air injectors measured up to be fitted

Oil cooler is fitted in place

The intercooler (genuine 500) fit's buts is having bits modified to make it fit around the air filter.

Back axle is in place, and getting lined up

Got the carbon dash in place.

New rear wheels.

Rear carbon panels

Fuel tank is in

May know someone who'll do it. Will check tonight and get back.

Can't be illegal as a lot of E types have 'em. But I think there'll be the usual age related restriction on non reflective plates.

Its illegal for companies to sell number plates that aint got the kite mark, british standard on....

If your car is made after 2002, you can't run them

Before you are ok, BUT you can't buy them from a number plate shop PMSL, this country is so retarded sometimes.

Air-to-air is pectel controlled boost control, and 12 stage switch in the cockpit.

Air filter is as is, but having scoop's under the front bib spoiler to get some more cold air into the filter, colder the better Bit like brake duct's

Hope that explain's

Its slightly modded as you can see....

can't wait till its done, then we can play with the engine, and get a few more ponies out of it...

Dingy

That is fooking mint!!!! Excuse my stupidity (and hijacking ) what do air injectors do?

I also thought the airfilter was going in the inner wing and that's why you had cut that hole and put the pipe through

When do you expect it to be up and running again?

Sorry about all the questions but I love mark2 escorts

Paul
