Which Exhaust???????
Hi
Just bought a P1 and at the moment has the standard exhaust fitted I am thinking of getting a new exhaust to release the flat four but dont know which one to buy.
I dont really want an ear bleeding sound just a nice burble, any advice on what exhaust woulld be gratefull.
Also checked with the insurance company and there will be no extra charge on my premium if i change the backbox as long as there is no performance increase, would say the addition of a scoobysport backbox add any extra BHP to the car.
Cheers in advance Daniel

In the same boat at the moment m8y, been searchin thro them all and i think the one im gonna get is the scorpion backbox, demon tweeks do it fo 188 squid, the scooby sport backbox sounds excellent but costs 315 squid, quite a big cash difference, but depends on how loaded you are!!!!
Scooby sport (hayward and Scott) is the way forward IMO!
have the back box and the decat on mine - sounds great! waiting to fit d/pipe also.
the scooby sport option may add power, but to be perfectly honest i think it would be difficult for your insurers to substantiate this - i would have thought that most (quality) back boxs are as likely as one another to produce a minimal amount of extra power.
to me it sounds as though the insurers are unlikely to object whatever you choose, else they would vito the whole prospect in the first instance.
on the other hand they may be thinking that if you are to fit something that they regard as ambiguous in terms of what constitutes a power increase and what does not, they may see it as potential to wriggle out of a claim??
i guess you would be wise to get from them in writing, that they approve of the specific brand/manufactorer of the mod you do fit to avoid this potential nightmare.
my twopence,
