Thumbs up

Am buying an unwanted PPP backbox from an '01 or '02 model year for my '03 WRX (which I understand fits) but looking underneath the car the centre section has another box in it before it gets to the cats which must be highly restrictive. I want a bit more gas flow and noise (but not too much and certainly no boom), but I am going to leave the cats in place!
- Can anyone tell me who's centre section will mate between standard front section and the PPP backbox?

On my classic I had a P1 backbox with a Scorpion back box fitted fine. I'd of thought all centre pipes would fit.

Maybe check with someone like TSL/PE

Cool

Gary, TSL's pipe looks like it could do the job rather nicely - and I'm going to have a chat with them.

This Hayward & Scott also looks like it will do the job. I have emailed them to get the price and check if it is a 2.5" bore.

Wink

Dont know if this helps.

I have a tsl firestorm on my sti8 and it fits fine with the section infront. The section infront of the back box is a shorter length to the my02 model. I had that section, off a my02, cut down by 5" or so to fit!. Works a treat.

Hope this helps.

Ady

Hayward & Scott (link above) have confirmed that their centre section has a 2.5" bore and will fit a Prodrive backbox. Cost is £90. Time to get out the ol' cheque book me thinks.
