he is getting confused in that pat is planning on building a six cylinder subaru engine which according to calculations will make 900bhp. That is not my engine.

Mine will only have 10 BHP over half of what you quoted Adam's power as so if you can drive you shouldn't have too much trouble

I said built to withstand 800bhp (which sadly it clearly wasn't), I also said the turbo chosen to give good spool up so power would be around the 500 bhp if I was lucky. I was lucky .

A minor set back but I now have a map good for a shed load of torque and power, and thankfully only a small amount of damage to fix.

Yes if you are running that much power and boost we remove the bores completely and get the bores specially coated, this stops the spliting cylinders
