Just another to add to the list of warranty repairs on my MY01 PPP - gearbox failure!

So the list of warranty replacements to date includes...

New Wheel bearings all round
New Clutch
New factory Alarm / Immob
Adjusted Geometry for eneven tyre wear on fronts.
New Gearbox???

When they came to pick the car up to take it for repair I timed how long Trackstar would take to notice the car was moving without the Trackstar disarmed - had a phone call in 6 minutes!!!! Tell me Trackstar aint worth the money!

I received a rental car the following morning - expected a TDi Golf or Mondeo - Got an Astra GSi Turbo with 3k on the clock. Great fun to drive and interesting to compare against the Scoob. Goes like a roller skate down a half pipe!

Just had my clutch done on warranty on my STI7,judging by it now i think it was on its way out when i bought the car 8mths ago!!!dont know why subaru dont put a uprated one in PPPd WRXs and STIs

 

Got my clutch replaced under warranty this week...UK300 PPP
