Got mine 2 weeks ago - just waiting for my 18's to be fitted, or should I get the Brembos fitted whilst I have my 17's on?

Edited to say: Andy do you know how many kits this group buy has sold?

I did say that its from a Scoobynet Group Buy and that the people would have all the kit. Did not leave my name, and there is no minimum number.

Apparently this is a special price, so mention it just in case. I have had the bump steer mod done, and the anti lift-kit put on. I had this as my tracking was miles out anyway and thought might as well have the whole lot done. It made a lot of difference, but not sure what the bump steer mod is like on its own. Power Engineering wanted £150 (not sure about VAT) with 5 people, but this was from 190 plus VAT usual price. I asked when I was at the Rolling Road day.

Edited to say - Did not find the car anymore tail happy, just more precise.

Cool

Cheers Andy
These brakes look very 'rude'!!

The 2-pots b4 were an embarrassment to say the least not to mention dangerous, now I have these to compare with!!!!

i ordered mine last week and expect to receive this or next week.,
the reason why andy nearly lost his marbles

don't tell me no body gets pi55ed off when you buy something for a very good price when someone comes up to you and say, hey i can do those cheaper.
hence what GODSPEED did, i didn't buy from GODSPEED because
1,there were quite a few problems i saw on the BBS ie missing, or wrong parts warped discs,
2, he don't take credit cards
3, more savings ( but NOT CHEAPER)
4, his group buy last time didn't go very smoothly, delays and or missing parts, and i'm sure he started that himself, so should got some ready

don't get me wrong i believe IAN is a great seller, his after sales service is second to none, which i wish other retailers/sellers can watch and learn

anyway even if reddot has more than 50 in stock it doesn't have to be group buy members are first in the list,
we got ours for a VERY GOOD PRICE, they gave us a time and if they keep to that time then it is excellent. remember they sell to others too, if a new customer buys ( A TT OWNER )and pays full price , meaning bigger profit of course they should send it to him first.

edited to say SORRY IAN don't take it bad from me,

and a big slap on the back to ANDY for this amazing deal.
i just check on my shopping list to see what else i need

Red Dot Racing can do 4 Pot Brembos with 320 * 28 mm Grooved Disks all brackets etc plus braided hoses, pads etc for £750 including VAT.

This is a very good price, and they come with a 12 month manufacturing guarantee. I need to get 10 or more people for this price. Would anyone be interested?

Edited to say, this kit is for all Classic Imprezas

I did ask, but thats the size for the Brembo kit on the group buy. This is apparently a very effective kit, and top quality. They supply retail outlets all over Europe.

What about fitting ?

Anyone know how much normal disks/pads costs for P1 ? I'm got a call logged with Subaru anyway.

May not be much difference in price in which case would be very interested in this.

Also, anywhere I can find details on this offer ?

I'll be back ...

The kit comes with everything you need, including braided hoses, fast road pads etc. For this Group Buy price the kit does not include brake fluid.

Brembo calipers are well known for their quality and performance. The disks top quality. Red Dot has won many awards and supplies large retail outlets such as Demon Tweeks, Halfords etc. Burton Power etc. They have also won many awards. I for one would not want to pay 750 quid if they were not top notch. I have been told that this is a great deal. The supplier has already done a few other group buys, last one being for the Audi TT Forum. Not sure if I should have said that, don't let that put you off.

When we have ten people the supplier will issue a password, then you can order them by telephone.

Does anyone know the actual retail price of this setup?

I'd like to know how much I might possibly save.

Thanks

They have a special on at the moment, and the original price that I was quoted was £881.25 which is the special for this setup. I have been looking for a while at different setups.

I knew that this was a good price, so asked if they would do a discount for a group buy, they said that they have just finished one for TT owners, amnd would be happy to do one. They said if I can get 10 customers they will reduce it to £750. Not sure how long this special price is going to hold, thats why I am trying to get the names ASAP as I want a setup for £750.

As said before, the timing of my call was luck, as they had an existing offer on the setup we want. On the Web Page its £1290 PLUS VAT. So its a hell of a saving. well over £500 and I do not think you will be stung for £500 postage.
