hi

I just boughts some BG defi gauges, oilpressure, oiltemp and boost
The oilpressure and the oiltemp come with 2 sensor with 1/8pt thread size. This size is not direct bolt on the subaru. For the oiltemp they recommended to put at the oilfilter with an adapter, but I do not want that. I want to put at the carterplug. So i need an adapter, do somebody know where I can buy that?
Also a T-part to suit the oilpressure and the oem oilpressure sensor. Somebody know where to buy this.
it is very strange that they do not include any adapters.

Hope someone can tell me.
I have already sent a mail to nito, but hope I can get a quicker answer through scoobynet.

thanx
Mike

Subaru make a plug for the oil galley way near cylinder number 3...

The part number is

11024AA210 and is a 'Plug-Main Gallery' i think the defi sensor fits straight in this..

yep..!!! its pretty hard to see but if you get a lead lamp and get your head right down you can see it just infront of the turbo and to the right as you look at the engine from the front...

I think the intercooler need to come off to get to it and the inlet to the turbo e.t.c..

Sh*t that is a lot of work to uninstall the inlet. This mean remove the manifold. i did this last weekend and took me at least 3 hours.

You dont need to remove the inlet manifold..!!! i meant inlet as in the pipes to the turbo and from the turbo to intercooler..

Will the oilpressure sensor fit straight in?/ Without having any adpater? What have you done with the oem sensor, if you disconnect, will the check engine lights up?

By the way great PDF

disconnect the old Sensore, the new one goes right in, keep the old sensor just incase you ever remove the gauges.

More instruction on my site...
